TMR is a platform established in 2011 for researchers and for those who wanted to equip themselves with the necessary tools to design, execute and disseminate high quality research.
TMR mainly operates in three different dimensions including consultation (all research related from statistical analysis to language editing), training and education (through workshops, seminars and symposia) and execution of research projects (including assistance in field work, data collection and quality assurance)
Dr. Muhammad Tahir Rizwan KhanFounding CEO, Chief Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Khan is educated as a Medical Doctor, An Epidemiologist & Biostatistician, Public Health & Global Health Professional with degrees from prestigious national and international universities like Dow University of Health Science, Karachi and University of Oslo, Norway. He is a recognized ‘Implementation Researcher’ and has headed a number of international collaborative researches supported by national and international donors. He has taught and supervised more than 1500 graduate and postgraduate students over a decade in an auspicious public sector university where he is serving as an Assistant Professor.
He serves as a reviewer for a number of national and international peer reviewed journals. His main interests of research are Tuberculosis in the low and middle income countries, tobacco addiction and adolescent psychology. He regularly delivers lectures at various institutes on research, career counseling, personal & professional development and success. He works as the chief consultant and CEO at TMR.
Dr. Saad Jawaid KhanSenior Consultant & Trainer
Having a doctorate degree of Biomechanics from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Saad has a prime interest in teaching and career counseling. He has served at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi and the Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Dow University of Health Sciences and is currently employed at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Riphah International University, Islamabad. His research interests include Biomechanics, Gait Analysis and the effects of gait retraining methods on Knee osteoarthritis. He has published a number of journal and International conference publications with the publishers of prestigious repute.
Dr. Shahkamal HashmiSenior Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Shahkamal Hashmi, is a medical doctor and holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Sweden. His prime areas of research are Public Health, Nutritional Epidemiology and Clinical Sciences. He has a rich teaching and research experience and works as an Assistant Professor at a public sector university.
Dr Zeeshan Noor ShaikhSenior Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Zeeshan Noor Shaikh has diverse experience in teaching and practice of public health. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. He teaches global health, public health leadership, and demography. He teaches in Dow University of Health Sciences, Institute of Business Management, College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhuttto Institute of Science and Technology (sZABIST). His work experience also includes working with various institutes like World Bank, World Health Organization, Global Fund for Tuberculosis, AIDS and Malaria. Internationally, he also worked in Nossal Institute of Global Health and University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also honored with Honorary Lectureship in Faculty of Medicine (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/z.shaikh),School of Public Health in Imperial College London. He won Australia Awards Scholarship (2010), Charles Wallace Fellowship (2015) and Australian Alumni Excellence Awards for Governance and Community Development (2016).
Dr. Adeel Ahmed KhanSenior Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Adeel is a public health academician and researcher, having more than ten-year experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, service delivery and research in diverse public health programs and projects. He is currently working as a trainer and consultant in Saudi Board Program of Preventive Medicine, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Adeel received his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, Pakistan. He did his postgraduate/ fellowship training in the subject of Community Medicine from the Department of Community Health Sciences, Aga Khan University. He is a Fellow in Community Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). He is also a eligible supervisor for ‘Saudi Board in Preventive Medicine’ for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, board trainees. He has also diverse experience of working in different international and national research projects. He has taught and supervised a number of graduate and postgraduate students of Preventive Medicine and Family Medicine. To his credit, he has a number of peer-reviewed publications in international reputed journals. His research interests primarily include maternal and child health, assessment of innovative techniques in low resource settings, non-communicable diseases, health system research and understanding & exploring the social determinants of health.
Dr. Zeeshan HussainHaematopathologist
Dr. Zeeshan Hussain is a Haematopathologist by profession. His expertise includes laboratory diagnostics of Haematological disorders like haemoglobinopathy, leukaemias, lymphoma and disorders of coagulation among others. For past two years he has conducting workshops on CBC (complete blood counts) for Specialist and General physicians. He is TMR’s master trainer for the topic. His special interest are in diagnosis and prevention of Hereditary disorders by DNA analysis. He has been actively involved in prevention of Thalassaemia for the past 10 years. Currently he is striving to established ‘pre-implantation genetic diagnosis’ of different genetic disorders. This facility would be first of its kind in Pakistan. In addition he is providing consulting services to many organizations regarding medical laboratory development.
Dr. Muhammad Yahya NooriSenior Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Muhammad Yahya Noori heads the Provincial Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory Sindh and is Deputy Director at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at Dow University. He is a Medical Graduate from Dow Medical College with a PhD from University of Glasgow, UK, and holds a Masters in Organizational Psychology and an MBA in Marketing.
He has more than ten years of working experience in Academia and Healthcare Sector. He has taught widely from his core Biological Sciences subjects to Marketing and Psychology from Undergraduate to Postgraduate Level. He is the lead trainers for the technical trainings of TB Control Program Sindh and is also a Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), where he teaches Health Psychology, Healthcare Service Delivery and Healthcare Leadership.

Having multiple masters in public health, hospital & healthcare administration along with international relations, he has a firm grip in multiple fields. As a trainer of public speaking and personality development, Dr. Jawad often appears on different tv programs and discusses vogue issues.

Dr. Syeda Quratulaen TahirPublic Relations Manager
Dr. Quratulaen Tahir is the lead public relations executive and is tasked with fielding media questions, preparing media kits and organizing press conferences for the company. She takes care of all the TMR’s public campaigns and PR activities.
